Most of the time it's just the LITTLE changes that make a BIG difference!
This is how this bedroom looked when my daughter and son in law bought this house. Georgia, my six year old granddaughter and I had ideas of our own on how to make it pretty for a little princess!PINK is the color of choice with a little animal print here and there. Accent wall is painted pink but others are tan so that all of our pink would stand out!We put one of her favorite dresses in a pretty pink frame and painted "GEORGIA" pink, of course. She loves her room and I enjoyed doing it with her and for her!
This is a perfect example that even vacant properties should be staged! ......and it does not take much to make it look inviting. Put up a shower curtain, and add a couple of coordination accessories. Then hang a couple of towels,a picture, and add a little greenery..........we are done! Now moving on to the dining room........ It is a small space and we will have to be careful with what we choose to put in here.We chose a glass top table. They always appear to consume less space and we added a mirror on the wall to make the area appear larger. Add some color by way of dinnerware and flowers, and a simple window topper. After all of that we were able to add some greenery in the corner.
This is Larnon's room, my youngest ganddaughter! Her room is pink, black and white. Her Papa painted the room and her bed. I covered boxes with material and fringe for extra storage.and draped material on the wall above the bed. I used a coordinating fabric in the picture frames for contrast. I used simple sheers and a big satin tie for the window. I painted the dresser & shelving to match the bed. The narrow piece is a CD holder that I painted to store Larnon's toiletries in. I often use paint to transform many items in bringing a room together. The chair was her 1st birthday gift!
This is Fin's room ....his little "MAN CAVE"! I am proud to say that he is my 4 yr old grandson! We liked his headboard but it was a double and his bed is a twin so we used it un-traditionally. Then we put the deer hide up & over the bed ...it works and most important of all Fin loves it!!I used an old window and put mirrors in place of the glass. I found a shelf out of the same wood as his dresser and then accessorized with some of his favorite things! Fin now has his own cool place to hide out from his sisters if he wants!
Clean kitchens are a must but this is sterile looking...not inviting to anyone!!!Add appliances sparingly but add some interest and color in other waysno interest here but with just a couple of selected items, it ends up being pleasing to the eye.A colorful container of fruit is always a good choice for a kitchen. Add a little greenery and some art and you are
STAGED!!!
