Staging is creating a feeling in a room that makes buyers want to come in!
This was a corner spot that was neglected as far as furnishings go and it was a corner that was seen a lot because of the TV so we made a few changes. We put the bamboo pieces in the back of the TV stand to hide all of the wires, I hate seeing wires (one of my pet peeves). We used a basket for the DVD's, stacked a few covered boxes for storage, added some greenery, a tall vase for color and a picture grouping on the wall.

This bedroom needs to be removed of clutter and change out tired looking bedspread and pillows. The lamp is too small next to the bed. It is out of balance. You hardly focus on what the room is used for because you are looking at all of the things that need to be put away. Clutter was removed and changed out printed spread for solid spread and coordinating pillows. We also switched out small lamp for a taller one.
This was a double bed in the master with night stand and dresser crowding the space. Pictures and lamps were too small ....no balance in the room.We put a king bed in the master to show potential buyers that the room was large enough for a king. We found a matching night stand in another room and used larger lamps for balance. We then moved the dresser to other side of the room. We bought new linens to make this room look clean and fresh.
This is a student's room at college but how in the world could you study with these blank white walls and a hot pink comforter? We just had to have a fun day of shopping to end up with the cutest room at Texas Tech! Now she can take her mind off of such a boring room and hit the books sitting up in her comfy bed surrounded with style!
